Release notes
What's new in Runplanner
Every update to the app, newest first. Updates reach Android and iPhone around the same time, but a store review can delay one by a few days. Want to know how a feature works? See the help centre.
Version 1.4.0
LatestA fresh look, and now in German
Popups, sheets and screens have a cleaner design, the planner shows your time and pace as you plan, and the map follows the route ahead while you navigate. Runplanner is now also available in German.
New
- Runplanner now speaks German: choose Deutsch in Settings
- See distance, time and pace while planning, and tap the pace to set a different pace for this route How to ›

- A new start screen on the Routes tab: tap on the map, make a loop or import a GPX file, with routes near you right below
- Back up all your routes, plans, gear and scheduled runs in Settings > Backup & restore, and restore them on any phone. On Android, a new phone can bring everything back in one tap How to ›
- After planning a run, add it to your calendar or invite a running buddy, and tap the date on a planned route to change or remove it How to ›
- Your unsaved route is safe: pick up where you left off after closing the app, and get a warning before another route replaces it
- Hold the Stop button to end a run, continue a run after the app was closed, and see your pace without pauses on the finish screen
Improved
- During navigation the map turns with the route ahead, so it no longer lags behind at corners or jumps to north
- Redesigned popups, sheets and screens, including the route details
