Planning a run in another town or on holiday? Search for the place and the map jumps there.
Search for a place
- On the Map tab, tap the magnifying glass at the top right (Search places).
- Type at least three letters of a town, street, park or landmark.
- Tap a result. The map moves there and zooms to fit: a city shows the whole town, a street or park comes in closer.
Results nearby come first. Your last 10 searches show under Recent; tap Clear to remove them.
Searching only moves the map. It doesn't add a waypoint, so tap the map to set your start.
Seeing No internet connection or Search unavailable? The search needs a connection. You can still pan and zoom the map by hand.
Questions
Why are some place names not in my language?
Search results come from OpenStreetMap through Photon, which returns names in English, German or the local language. Dutch place names show as they are written locally.
