The four tabs: Map, Routes, Plans and Profile

iPhone + Android

Runplanner has four tabs along the bottom of the screen: Map, Routes, Plans and Profile.

Map

Where you plan routes and run them. Tap to add points, make a loop with the route generator, search for a place, change the map style and start turn-by-turn navigation. See Plan your first route.

Routes

Two lists, switched at the bottom of the screen:

  • My routes: every route you saved or imported. Sort, search, open, edit, duplicate, share or delete them. The calendar icon at the top opens your scheduled runs.
  • Browse: hand-picked routes to discover and save. See Discover routes.

The + button lets you create a route, scan a QR code, import a GPX file or, on Android, import runs from Health Connect.

A number on the Routes tab means you have imported routes you haven't looked at yet. A dot means you have a run planned for later today.

Plans

Interval workouts: warm-up, repeats, recovery and cool-down. Create one with + or scan a friend's QR code. See Build an interval workout.

Profile

Your running stats, gear, connected apps and running tips. The gear icon at the top opens Settings, where you change units, language, pace, map style, reminders and backups.
