On Android, Runplanner can read your past runs from Health Connect and turn them into routes, so you can run them again. It only reads; it never writes health data.
Connect Health Connect
- Open the Profile tab and find Integrations.
- Tap Connect next to Health Connect.
- Allow access to exercise and exercise routes in the screen that opens.
If Health Connect isn't on your phone, Runplanner offers to install it from Google Play.
Import a run
- Open the Routes tab and tap +.
- Tap Import from Health Connect.
- Pick a run from the list. Runs are grouped by month and show the date, distance, time and the app that recorded them, such as Garmin Connect or Strava.
- Check the preview and tap Import route.
Only runs are listed, not walks or rides.
Troubleshooting
- This run has no GPS route: the run was recorded without GPS, for example on a treadmill.
- Allow route access: open Health Connect, go to App permissions → Runplanner and allow Exercise routes.
- Older runs missing? Health Connect may only share data from 30 days before you first connected, unless you allowed access to past data.
To stop, tap Disconnect in Integrations.
Questions
Is there Apple Health support on iPhone?
Not at the moment. On iPhone you can still import runs as GPX files exported from your watch app. See Import a GPX file.
