Someone sent you a Runplanner link or a GPX file? Here's how to get it into the app.
A link (runplannerapp.com/r/… or /p/…)
Tap the link on the phone that has Runplanner. The app opens with a Preview of the route; tap Import route. Workout plans are added to the Plans tab right away.
If the link opens a web page instead of the app, tap Open in Runplanner. No app yet? The page has buttons for the App Store and Google Play; install it and tap the link again.
A QR code
Open Routes → + → Scan QR (or Plans → + → Scan QR for a workout) and point the camera at the code. The first time, allow camera access; Runplanner only uses the camera to scan codes.
A GPX file
Tap the file and open it with Runplanner, or use Routes → + → Import GPX. See Import a GPX file.
When it doesn't work
- Route not found or has expired: short links work for 90 days. Ask for a new link.
- Invalid QR code: it isn't a Runplanner code, or the camera couldn't read it. Hold the phone steady and try again after a few seconds.
