Let a friend or family member follow your run live on a map, in their browser, without the app. Live location sharing is part of Runplanner Pro.
How it works for you
- Start navigation on a saved route.
- In the Start dialog, tap Let someone follow along.
- Edit the message if you like, then send the link with Send via WhatsApp, Share link or Copy link.
- Tap Start and share live.
During the run a LIVE chip shows how many people are watching. Tap it to invite someone else, see what they see, or Stop sharing. Navigation keeps going when you stop sharing.
What they see
The link opens a web page with your route, where you are, the distance done, your pace, when you'll be back and your phone's battery. It also shows when you pause, leave the route or finish. No app or account is needed.
Privacy
- Your position is encrypted on your phone. The key is only in the link, and our server can't read it.
- Sharing stops by itself when you stop navigating, and the data is deleted within an hour after that (12 hours at most).
- Only people who have the link can watch.
Until Pro is available, the option shows a PRO tag and opens the Pro page.
