Every saved route shows the weather for when you'll run it: at the start and at the finish, up to a week ahead, with the best hour to go and where the wind will be.
See the forecast
- Open a route from the Routes tab.
- Find the Conditions card.
- Tap Today, Tomorrow or another day.
For each day you see a Start and Finish column with the time, temperature, chance of rain, dew point and, when the sun is strong, the UV index. Today starts now. Other days start at the time you scheduled a run, or at 09:00 when nothing is planned. The finish time comes from the route's distance and your pace.
Best hour to run
Best hour to run picks the most pleasant hour between 06:00 and 22:00 that day. Cool and dry weather between about 8 and 14 °C scores best; heat, cold, rain, strong wind, muggy air and darkness score lower.
Wind on your route
Runplanner checks the wind direction along the route at the time you'll pass each part, and tells you what to expect: Mostly headwind on this route, Mostly tailwind on this route, Mostly tailwind on the way back or Changing winds along the route.
High UV means a UV index of 6 or more at the start or finish. Bring sunscreen and a cap.
The Map tab also shows a small weather chip with the current temperature when you're zoomed in.
The forecast is from Open-Meteo for the route's start point. If it can't load, the card simply doesn't show.
